I have lived in New York for 7 years. In my time, I have taken NUMEROUS workshops/classes/intensives on the business of acting. Lots of money spent and hours invested, I never walked away feeling like I could apply what I learned or had the strong desire to do so. I did not really feel changed. I also felt very isolated in what I learned and did not form any lasting relationships to share the journey after the class was done. The SAVVY ACTOR is by the far the best time and money I have spent towards the business side of my career. Ironically enough though, it has directly enchanced me artisically. I feel much more connected to my want and my goals are clear as day. I also feel held up. I have an enormous extended family now of actors to be constantly connected to that all share the same language and also share wonderful information. It instantly bonds you for life to this unique network of artists. Not to mention Jodie and Kevin make it all exciting and fun. My spirits were uplifted by the SAVVY team and I am so grateful for them! They really empower you and instill in you that your career really is in YOUR CONTROL, if you can connect to why you are doing it in the first place.

The Savvy Actor's Crash Course MBA is invaluable for anyone in a creative career. The advice is honest, the tools are perfectly crafted for artists and it gives you a new perspective on how to create lasting success as a businessperson AND an artist. I cannot recommend it enough! -

Crash Course MBA was eye-opening. I really felt like I had done a small business course and left with a new handle on how to make my business more effective. The information was inspiring. The penny dropped. I thought "Oh... that's what I have to do!"

At the Savvy Actor weekend you are presented with, really, an overwhelming amount of information. But the thing is it all makes sense, it's all relevant, and it's all 100% doable. And it's not one of those programs where they flood your brain with info and then send you on your merry way, they give you the tools you need to be successful, then they give you what you need to continue that success - time to process, and plan for implementing everything, and a really killer support system to answer any questions, clarify information, and really help you do what it is they're teaching. The great thing about being a Savvy Actor is that the weekend of training really is just the beginning. In an industry as fickle as entertainment is, the Savvy Actor training really gives you what you need to take the bull by the horns and make your career exactly what you want it to be.

The Savvy Crash Course MBA Weekend is an event I recommend every actor who is serious about his business and craft to attend. It will help you remove the blinds that prevent you from reaching the highest level in sucess.

It's a business, silly. Good medicine that goes down easy.

I only wish I had done The Savvy Actor when I first moved to Los Angeles, In a sea of available classes, most of which did not provide value to my career, this is a MUST. Start here.

The Savvy Actor has changed my life! They show you the business of show business. They put things in perspective for the actor. Acting is so much more than craft, youre running a small business and Kevin, Jodie, and Doug help you realize every different aspect that you need to run a successful business. And how to achieve what you want to achieve in your career.

When I entered this seminar, I had focus and determination but little direction. The Savvy actor helped me hone in on what was missing in my marketing strategy and how to market myself more proficiently. I highly recommend this workshop to actors who are trying to take their game in the business to the next level.
